By Car From Glasgow (11 miles): - From the city centre, follow the signs for Aberfoyle and the North (A81). - Once on the A81 you will travel through Bearsden, Milngavie and Strathblane. - As you enter the village of Strathblane we are on the right side. From Edinburgh (48 miles): - Take the M8 towards Glasgow city centre. - Take junction 16 (A81). - Leave the motorway (signposted Aberfoyle A81) then take the right-hand lane, and at the traffic signals turn right under the bridge. - Take the left-hand lane to join the A879 (signposted Milngavie). - Keep on the road until you reach a roundabout and take the 2nd exit on the left towards Milngavie. - At the next set of traffic lights, turn right onto the A81 and continue on this road.
