From mid-February 2008 until late July 2008, the hotel will be carrying out works to extend the lounge and basement area at the east end of the south-facing elevation. This will create a larger lounge area, making more of the superb sea views. At the same time this work will also provide more space in the Smugglers Bar. These works will be screened off from the main part of the hotel and will not affect the general operation of the bar and restaurant areas on the ground floor.
