We are a 4 Red diamond accommodation 4 Star Inn with the AA. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you when you wander into this authentic old inn that rests by the river Severn, in the picturesque town of Bewdley. Object id #37 Known for its Georgian architecture and quaint black and white cottages with attractive riverside frontages, this inn offers superb views of the Servern from its restaurant, The Angry Chef. In sunny climes, you can relax with a drink in the peaceful terrace area. The hotel offers the finest real ales and hosts an annual beer festival. The Mug House Inn has offered bed and breakfast accommodation for nearly 200 years, with the earliest recorded landlord present in 1820. The hotel has retained original beamed ceiling to capture the charm of yesterday, whilst offering the modern amenities you will need for an enjoyable, relaxing stay. The Mug House Inn and Angry Chef Restaurant are found just off the A456 road from Kidderminster, which is just off the M5 motorway. By Car: - Take the A456 (signposted Leominster, Bewdley). - After about 1.5 miles, West Midlands Safari Park is on the left. - Continue forward onto Kidderminster Road (A456). - Enter Bewdley and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Kidderminster Road (B4190) signposted Bewdley town centre. - Bear right onto Stourport Road (signposted town centre). - Follow the road over the bridge and turn right immediately after the bridge in front of the Angel public house. - Turn right onto Severn Side North. We suggest this route as you can unload your luggage before continuing onto the public car park just 100 metres along the Riverside (we will give you directions). We have a limited amount of passes for free parking at this facility. By Train: Bewdley station on the Severn Valley Railway is a short walk away from The Mug House.
