The guest house with a garden and sunny dining room is ideally located overlooking parkland. It is just a 5-minute walk from the beach and train station, and a 10-minute walk from the Princess Theatre, the harbour and town centre. There is free road parking and a small car park.

The guest house offers excellent breakfasts to suit all tastes. Special diets can be catered for with prior notice. Choose from a buffet or opt for a full English breakfast. Special occasions can be catered for with prior notice; request flowers, chocolates and theatre tickets (at an additional cost).

Avenue Park offers quality bed and breakfast in Torquay, providing modern comfortable facilities with friendly service and good food, close to the Riviera Centre, and convenient for the beach, harbour, town centre and train station.

We are a non-smoking hotel.

From Newton Abbot on the A308:
- Follow signs for Torquay, then for the sea front and Riviera Conference Centre.
- Taking the right fork at Torre station/Halfords sign into Avenue Road.
- Follow the road through the set of lights and we are just before the next traffic lights on the left, by the red post box, opposite the park.

Avenue Park is within 5 minute level walk from the train station with regular trains direct to Torquay station.

Coach travel is also an option with the coach and bus station in central Torquay.

COMMENTS: Check-In:
Please note that there is no night porter facility at Avenue Park. The latest evening check-in time is 21:00. Access cannot be gained after this time. The guest house requires your estimated arrival time and mobile telephone number at the time of booking.

Payment Information:
Where payment of the balance is made by credit card, a surcharge of 2% will be added to the your bill by Avenue Park. There is no surcharge for payment made by debit card. Please note that payment of any balance is due on arrival (not on check-out).

No reduction is made by Avenue Park for temporary absence, meals not taken, or for departure earlier than booked.

Booking deposits:
Please note that for stays longer than 1 night, the 20% of the total charge will be taken as a non refundable deposit. All credit card payments will incur a 2% surcharge. Debit card payments are free.

Where the booking is made for 2 or more rooms under the same booking reference, the deposit remains non-refundable in the event of a cancellation or amendment made to 1 or more of the rooms (i.e. the full amount of the initial deposit cannot be used towards the amended total cost of the new reservation).

Group Bookings:
Avenue Park does not accept group bookings (including stag or hen parties).

Smoking/Damage Charges:
Avenue Park is a totally non-smoking guest house. The person making the booking will be liable for the cost of any damage repair or additional cleaning that is required due to a client's actions. In the event of this, the cost will be charged to the credit or debit card provided. In addition, a surcharge of GBP 50 will be payable towards the cost of additional cleaning required to bring the room back to the standard expected by subsequent guests. This will be charged to the credit or debit card provided.

There are 2 en suite family rooms. Room 8 is on the ground floor and provides accommodation for up to 3 adults and 2 children, or 2 adults and 3 children. There is a double bed and a full size bunk bed that also has a full-size single pull-out bed, or room for a travel cot.

Room 3 is on the first floor and has a double and a single bed with the option to add another single bed or a travel cot. It offers a view over the park and Chelston area.

Important: please provide details of children's ages and the number of adults when booking these rooms. These rooms are for use as family rooms only and group bookings (such as stag and hen parties) will not be accepted.
