There are therefore access restrictions within the building that we cannot alter, modify or change without causing damage to, or destroying the original features and fabric of the building. There are 5 steps from the kerbside to the front door of the hotel with a substantial handrail to the right hand side. There are 14 steps down from the ground floor to the restaurant (with handrail).
