This former 18th century coaching house is situated in the heart of the historic town of Winchelsea, on the edge of the Sussex Downs.

All of the rooms are en suite and have tea and coffee making facilities.

The restaurant uses good, local produce and there is a specials board that changes daily. In the summer months, guests can enjoy the walled garden.

There are hourly trains to Winchelsea station from Hastings (20 minutes), Rye (5 minutes) and Ashford (30 minutes) every day, including weekends.

By bus:
The Hastings to Rye hourly bus service stops at Winchelsea.

By cycle:
The National Cycle Network (NCN2), Eastbourne to Dover passes through Winchelsea. Ther are cycle hire facilities at Rye, with a circular route to Winchelsea via Castle and Canal cycle route and NCN2).

By car:
-Winchelsea is just off the A259 between Rye and Hastings.
