These room are located in the mews which was originally the stables for the coaching house, dating from 1898 and built by The Duke of Bedford.

This double room is specifically planned to offer a welcoming and calm ambiance. The decor is striking as you walk through the door to be greeted by an original, re-pointed, natural stone wall with feature edging. The exposed original roof timber beams add to the feel with a hanging 5 spoke chandelier centre lighting piece. Natural light oozes through the 2 double windows with views over the courtyard. The windows sit in Victorian slate window sills.

To compliment this room type further, they feature a raised platform area with antique fishing buoys for decoration.

A complimentary welcome tray with mineral water drawn from the hotel's well. This well dates back to Roman times.

All rooms have many unique design features, luxury Egyptian cotton linen is standard together with Molton Brown toiletries. Rooms also include LCD TVs and a DVD library.
