The Copper Beech restaurant is open daily and has a table d'hôte menu and an à la carte menu. Both menus feature Scottish cuisine made using local produce.
The Georgian drawing rooms are the perfect places to enjoy afternoon tea or evening refreshments. Sit next to the roaring log fires and enjoy the panoramic views of the gardens and the Solway Firth.

• SOUTH WEST SCOTLAND MAIZE MAZE (1 Mile) - Huge maize maze with fun quiz trail, large outdoor play area, trampolines, go-karts, pedal tractor maze, giant sand pit, diggers, rope maze, space hoppers, straw mountain, jersey cows and more. Light refreshments available and picnic area.
• ROBERT BURNS CENTRE (15 Miles) - You'll find this converted 18th-century water mill on the banks of the River Nith. Facilities includes an exhibit on the poet, a restaurant, and an audiovisual theater showing films about Burns and the town of Dumfries.
• GRETNA GATEWAY OUTLET VILLAGE (25 Miles) - At Gretna Gateway Outlet Village you will find a glittering array of world famous designer fashions at outlet prices. Conveniently located off the M74 motorway at the Gretna exit.
• DRUMLANRIG CASTLE (43 Miles) - Pink castle,built around 1679 in a parkland ringed by wild hills,is the seat of the dukes of Buccleuch and Queensberry. It's home to some outstanding paintings,plus relics related to Bonnie Prince Charlie.There's a playground with amusements for kids.
