Almost all tourist attractions are on your doorstep. James Court Apartments provide apartments with a home away from home environment. Guests can expect comfortable apartments in a fabulous historic setting.

Please note that the apartments are located in historical buildings, and that there is no lift and there can be noise.
Due to the layout of the city, guests may be required to climb a number of steps to reach their accommodation. Guests who have mobility problems are kindly asked to inform the hotel of this when booking.

From Edinburgh Airport to Queen Street:
- Exit Edinburgh Airport on to East Field Road.
- Follow signs for the city centre/ Edinburgh zoo.
- Go through Eastfield Road and turn left onto the A8.
- Enter Edinburgh carrying on Glasgow Road (A8).
- Go through the Drumbrae Roundabout and onto Saint John's Road (A8).
- This will become Corstorphine Road (A8).
- Turn right on the Roseburn Terrace (A8).
- Carry onto West Coates, which becomes Haymarket Terrace (A8).
- Turn left into Haymarket (A8) and carry on West Maitland Street.
- This becomes Shandwick Place (A8) which becomes Princes Street.
- Turn left onto South Charlotte Street (A90) which becomes Charlotte Square and then North Charlotte Street.
- Turn right onto Albyn Place and turn left into Queen Street. - We are at number 6 Queen Street (opposite end) on the right-hand side, next to the Jam House.

Alternatively, a taxi from the airport costs approximately GBP 20, and the air link bus costs approximately 5 GBP (return).
The airport bus departs every 15 minutes. Guests must disembark at the Waverly Bridge terminus (opposite Waverly Station). Reception and key collection is approximately a 7 to 10-minute walk from here.
