The 4-star Grand Hotel occupies pride of place on the Torbay seafront, with majestic views over the bay. Whatever the weather, the comfort and luxury of the Grand has something to offer everyone.

The hotel has 131 rooms, 7 of which are premier suites. The majority of rooms embrace the wonderful sea view and Torbay coastline. All are decorated to a high standard and include all of the facilities and extras you would expect in a 4-star hotel. Facilities include 2 swimming pools, jacuzzi, gym, sauna, tanning shower and tennis court. There is also a hair and beauty suite in the hotel. For the more active, there is the Grand Leisure Suite with its 15 metre swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and sunbed as well as a multi-gym. A bakery and restaurant are both on site.

Since being purchased by the Richardson Group in 2001, it has undergone a sympathetic restoration that has exposed its magnificent Victorian and Art Deco architectural characteristics. Whatever the weather, the comfort and luxury of The Grand has something to offer everyone. For the more active, there is the Grand Leisure Suite with its 15 metre swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and sunbed as well as a multi-gym.
In the summer, there's the pleasure of an outdoor pool, complete with fountain, children's area and plenty of space in which to soak up the sun's rays from the comfort of a sun lounger. With friendly and welcoming staff, it is the ideal place for families and those wishing to relax in the leisure club or beauty salon.
Easy access from London, the Midlands and Bristol using the m5 Southbound. After Exeter, follow the a380 all the way to Torquay. Upon reaching the Seafront , turn right at the Traffic Lights and we are the first Hotel on the right, facing the Sea.

BY ROAD: Excellent road communication with the M5 motoway to Exeter, A38 and A380 dual-carriageway connection to Newton Abbot and a pleasant drive into Torquay. Follow signs for the Seafront.BY RAIL: The Grand is situated just a minutes walk from Torquay mainline rail station.BY AIR: Both Exeter and Plymouth airports are located just a 35 - 40 minute drive away. Car hire or a taxi service can be arranged.
