Situated in the traditional Lake District town of Keswick, this former coaching inn provides a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with modern day comforts in a historic setting.

In the 17th Century, Keswick was the crossroads for many of the horse and carriage routes which traversed this part of the English Lake District.
Please note: being in the town centre, the Kings Arms is located close to a nightclub which is open until 02:00 Thursday-Sunday during winter and 7 nights during the summer and until 03:00 on Friday and Saturday. Some noise from customers leaving may be heard.
By car m6 to Penrith, leave the motorway at junction 40, head west on the a66 to Keswick. The Kings Arms Hotel is in the Market Square in the Town centre close to the historical Moot Hall. By rail to Carlisle (23 miles) or Penrith (15 miles). Continue by taxi or hire car. By commercial airline to Newcastle (90 miles) Manchester (120 miles). Continue by hire car or commercial shuttle service.

• Keswick Launch (1 Mile) - Enjoy a 50 minute sightseeing cruise around beautiful Lake Derwentwater, or hop on or off throughout the day until you get back to Keswick, Evening cruises are available
• The Puzzling Place (1 Mile) - Where seeing is not always believing, visit the Hologram Gallery, The Anti Gravity Room, Optical Illusions, all mind boggling things!!!
• Trotters World of Animals (7 Miles) - This is home to hundreds of animals from those that are critically endangered to our traditional favourites. Pony or Tractor rides, soft play area and lots more. Open all year round, cafe and gift shop on site
