The Maid's Head Hotel is conveniently situated in Norwich town centre opposite the famous Norman cathedral. One of Norwich's most famous hotels, the Maid's Head includes some fine examples of 13th Century architecture.

Located in the heart of the city in the fashionable area of Tombland, opposite the famous Norman Cathedral, with free parking facilities, our hotel is an ideal base to explore the historic City of Norwich or the wealth of attractions in the surrounding areas. Norwich is a perfect base for leisure guests with many attractions for all ages within the city, as well as the surrounding Norfolk Broads and nearby Sandringham. Our courtyard restaurant offers a fine selection of local and international dishes served in a bright courtyard setting. There is also a bar where you can enjoy a quiet drink and a lounge, which is perfect for relaxing at any time of the day.
As part of our ongoing improvement programme, during January to the end of May 2008, the hotel will be completing another phase of bedroom refurbishment. This will result in 42 bedrooms being completely refurbishment up to the standard expected of a modern hotel. Also please note that from 14 January until the end of February 2008, the hotel lift will be out of service for an overhaul.
Follow signs to City Centre. Take inner ring road to north of city. At roundabout for A1151, sign-posted Wroxham/Gt Yarmouth, follow signs for Cathedral and Law Courts. The hotel is approximately 400 metres on right along Palace Street.

• Norwich Cathedral - A magnificent Norman building set in a large close. The nave roof bosses, illustrating the Bible from Creation to the Day of Judgement, and the Saxon Bishops throne in the eastern apse, are unique features.
• Norwich Puppet Theatre - With a year round program of puppet plays and puppet making workshops a visit to Norwich Puppet Theatre is a unique experience for everyone. Based in converted medieval church, the theatre is one of the few puppet-dedicated theatres in the whole UK.
• Dinosaur Adventure Park (16 Miles) - Enjoy the ultimate family adventure at the Dinosaur Adventure Park, voted Norfolk's top family attraction by the Good Britain Guide 2000. Discover lifesize giants of the past on the Dinosaur Trail.
