The area is famous for strawberries, cheese and the wonderful caves, which are found in the mighty Cheddar Gorge. Evening meals are available, please book 24 hours in advance as as we cook from fresh to order. If you require more information please do not hesitate to contact us. By Car: From the M5: - Leave the M5 at junction 22 (Burnham-on-Sea). - Follow the A38 north for 11.3 km/ 7 miles. - Turn right to Ceddar. - We are on the A371 right in the centre of Cheddar village opposite the Market Cross. From the airport: We are 24.1 km/ 15 miles (20 minutes) from Bristol Airport. - Turn right out of the airport on to the A38 until you reach the A371. There are taxis at the airport and we can arrange taxis back. By Train: The train station is in Weston-Super-Mare. The bus 126 brings you to our front door. Ask the driver for the Market Cross. Local Attractions : •  The Mendip Hills - The hills was designated 'area of outstanding nateral beauty' in 1972 and covers 198sq kms from Bleadon to Chewtom Mendip and incorparates 3 bautiful gorges. The area is well known for its wildlife and geology. •  Cheddar Caves & Gorge - These are beatiful Caves situated in britain's biggest Gorge, an area of natual beauty. Lots to see & do. •  Wookey Hole Caves (9 Miles) - The caves are some of the largest in the uk, with spectacular chambers. Let the guides tell you about the myths and legends that surround the caves. See traditional paper being made. Play the old fashioned penny machines in the old paper mill •  Wells (10 Miles) - The smallest city in England. It has streams running down the high st. The cathedral has some unique features, and a wonderful wooden mechanical clock.
