Local Attractions : •  American Museum (1.26 Miles) - Claverton Manor is just two miles south east of Bath, in a beautiful setting above the River Avon. The house was built in 1820 by Sir Jeffrey Wyatville, and is now a museum of American decorative arts. The gardens are well worth seeing, and include an American Arboretum •  Roman Baths & Pump Room (1.96 Miles) - The remains of the Roman baths and temple give a vivid impression of life nearly 2000 years ago. Built next to Britain's only hot spring, the baths served the sick, and the pilgrims visiting the adjacent Temple of Sulis Minerva. Above the Temple Courtyard •  Sally Lunn's Refreshment House & Museum (1.89 Miles) - This Tudor building is Bath's oldest house and was a popular 17th-century meeting place.
