Best Western Links Hotel rests close to the town centre and is within walking distance of the 5th oldest golf course in the world and the 3 miles of golden sand of Montrose Beach. This former Edwardian townhouse is an excellent choice for private guests, smaller groups and families. It offers quality and individual designed bedrooms. For events, the hotel's conference facilities feature 3 versatile suites of varying sizes. The main room and Fairways Suite combined can comfortably accommodate as little as 26 and up to 360 people. On the 1st floor, the hotel offers the very distinguished drawing room, part of the original townhouse.
Follow the a92 which is the main coast road which runs between Dundee and Aberdeen. Follow the signs to the town centre and when approaching the high street, turn down into George Street and take the second left. The Links is situated along this road on the left. Or A90 Dundee to Aberdeen, take A935 to Montrose. At first traffic lights turn right, take second left then second right. The Links Hotel is situated along this road on the right.

• Montrose Golf Course (1 Mile) - Fantastic 18-hole links course just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The Montrose Links is also the fifth oldest golf course in the world. Many other excellent courses nearby in the area. Hotel will be happy to book t off times.
• Scottish Wildlife Trust (2 Miles) - Come and see magnificient wildlife and enjoy superb panorama from the comfort of this unique centre. 3 remote cameras give excellent views of wader roosts.
• House of Dun (3 Miles) - Beautiful Georgian Townhouse designed by William Adam and built in 1730. Superb plasterwork by Joseph Enzer. Childrens adventure trial, workshop and gardens.
• Glamis Castle and gardens (20 Miles) - Childhood home of the Queen mother. Guided tours, exhibitions and gardens.
