The Dragon House Hotel is on the A39 Bridgwater to Minehead road. From Taunton (M5 j25) join the A39 via the A358 at Williton. The Dragon House is on the left, adjacent to the turning to Old Cleeve, approximately 1000 yards from the Washford Steam Railway station.

• Exmoor National Park (1 Mile) - Breathtaking scenery and wonderful views, Doone Valley, Tarr Steps, and pretty villages. Walking or by car there is much to see.
• Dunster (3 Miles) - Pretty, cobbled Mediaeval Village with Castle and Gardens (NT), Watermill, Yarn Market and quaint shops.
• West Somerset Steam Railway (5 Miles) - Running from Minehead to Bishop's Lydeard the steam railway is popular with all ages. Washford Station is only a stone's throw away (1,000 yards)
• Lynton and Lynmouth (15 Miles) - Two beautiful scenic towns linked by picturesque Victorian cliff railway.
