Run and managed by resident owners Chris, Caroline and Gary Waters, Meadfoot Bay offers a truly home-from-home atmosphere, where a warm smile and friendly service are very much in evidence, and part of the Meadfoot Bay way.

The guest house is situated just 200 metres from Meadfoot Bay, a delightful, unspoilt beach which holds the coveted EC Blue Flag for cleanliness, and where you can relax and watch the tide roll in and out. The guest house offers free car parking, free Wi-Fi, and operates a full non-smoking policy throughout the building.


By Car
From the North:
- Follow the M5 to Exeter and exit the M5 at junction 31.
- Head onto the A38 and follow signs for Torquay.
- From the A38, turn onto the A380 and follow this road into Torquay, heading for the seafront.

From the West:
- Follow the A38 from Plymouth.
- Take the Totnes turning (A385) and follow signs to Paignton. Then follow signs to Torquay.
- At the traffic lights at the sea front, turn left and follow signs for the harbour and Meadfoot (if travelling from Paignton you are already on this road. Keep going straight).
- Continue over the next set of traffic lights, turn left at the roundabout and continue past Hoopers and Debenhams.
- Turn left at the next roundabout (clock tower in centre of roundabout).
- Take the right lane at the traffic lights and turn right into Meadfoot Road (signs for Meadfoot Beach).
- Continue for half a mile (road turns into Meadfoot Sea Road at brow of the hill). The Meadfoot Bay guest house is on the right-hand side as the road starts to go downhill.

•  Paignton Zoo (12 Miles) - Set in a 75 acre natural setting, its an opportunity to find out all about the world's endangered species. Over 6 million has been spent in creating one of the best Zoos in the country.
•  Woodlands Leisure Park (16 Miles) - Home of one of the biggest venture centres plus it has 3 Watercoatsters, Toboggan Run, Arctic Gliders and 60 acres of action, animals and beauty.
•  National Trust (96 Miles) - There are many National Trust places around Devon, notably on Dartmoor there is Buckland Abbey, home of Sir Francis Drake; Lydford Gorge with it's 90 foot waterfall and Castle Drogo with all the comforts of the 20th century.
•  Eden Project (108 Miles) - The Eden Project is a global garden for the 21st century. A gateway to a sustainable future and a dramatic setting in which to tell the fascinating story of mankind's dependence on plants. It is already a top international visitor destination.
