Relax in the bar before exploring the surrounding area; the property is well placed for the Riviera Conference & Leisure Centre, the seafront, beaches, the shopping centre, Torre Abbey and the railway station. The Buckingham Lodge has a free on-site car park.
By Car
From the M5:
- Follow the A38 to Torquay.
- Take the A380.
- Take the A3022 into Torquay.
- Stay in the right-hand lane when you reach the junction of Torre station and Halfords.
- Follow Avenue Road and pick up signs to the seafront and Paignton.
- At the 2nd set of traffic lights on the junction of the Riveria Centre and Falkland Road, take a sharp left turn onto Falkland Road.
- The Buckingham Lodge is approximately 100 yards on the left-hand side (set back next to Glendower Hotel).

You can be collected from and delivered to the train station if required.

• Agatha Christie's Riviera - Follow the footsteps of the world famous crime writer and visit attractions & places she loved in Torquay - Grand Hotel; Torre Abbey; Kents Cavern with its prehistoric remains and many more places of interest all easily accessible from Buckingham Lodge.
• Living Coasts (1 Mile) - Opened July 2003 - See life where the sea meets the shore and find out more about marine conservation.
• Model Village (3 Miles) - Take the open topped bus from Torquay's Harbour Area (about a 1 km walk along the sea front from the hotel) and visit the award winning gardens and model village. Visit Bygones life size victorian streets & take a ride on the cliff railway.
• Dartmoor (15 Miles) - Area of natural beauty. Nature trails, Hiking, Walks. Attractions to visit include: Canonteign Falls (England's highest); Dartmoor's miniture pony & animal farm; Widdecombe with its 'cathedral in the moor' and lots more!!
