This is a beautiful Victorian building with an attractive tower, standing in its own grounds set in a quiet part of Ilfracombe.

This exceptional location offers out of town tranquillity, yet is only a minute's walk from the Hillsborough Nature Reserve and the town's swimming pool. A ten minute stroll will take you to the hub of the town and harbour with many restaurants, cafes and bars. There is also golf course that is less than a mile away.

The hotel offers a quiet, relaxing stay with many of the rooms benefiting from spectacular views. A hearty breakfast is served in the dining room; the hotel also caters for vegetarians.

After a busy day the welcoming lounge gives you a chance to relax and perhaps chat with friends over a drink whilst enjoying the views over Ilfracombe bay. With your comfort in mind, the guest house is a completely non-smoking residence.


Local Bus and Coach stations are just a short walk into the town centre offering National Express services to the local area and beyond. If travelling by Rail, services to the station at Barnstaple are available from the town centre. We are happy to assist with your travel arrangements if required.
