This historic building, dating back to 1329 and named after Owain Glyndwr, the legendary Prince of Wales, boasts 13 well appointed bedrooms, a restaurant, 2 bars, a residents lounge, conference facilities and secure private parking. For the tourist, the Owain Glyndwr offers the ideal base to enjoy the beautiful Dee Valley, with its wide range of country pursuits, or to explore the many and varied attractions of North Wales. For business, the Owain Glyndwr's spacious conference facilities are an ideal 'away from the office' location for meetings and training events. Set in a 'lecture theatre' style, there is seating for 100. Set in a 'board room' style, 35 can work in comfort. Our fine restaurant, with seating for 20 diners, serves a varied and changing menu that takes full advantage of fresh, local produce. The ideal venue for that special occasion. Guests will be attracted by the log fire in the Saddle Bar or may prefer the Bottom Bar to enjoy the range of beers, selected wines and spirits.
This Grade ii listed building dominates Corwen Town Square on the main a5 London to Holyhead trunk road in North Wales, 10 miles west of Llangollen. It is less than 2 hours from Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham.

• BALA (10 Miles) - Drive just 10 miles along the picturesque River Dee to find a tea shop to sit and watch the world go by on the shores of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) or visit the craft shops to buy a momento of your visit.

• LLANGOLLEN (10 Miles) - Take the steam to train to the Llangollen International Eisteddfod where, for 7 days every July, Wales welcomes the world drawing choirs, musicians, folk singers and dancers to this festival with its friendly atmosphere of international understanding.
• SNOWDONIA NATIONAL PARK (10 Miles) - The spectacular scenery has everything for the walker. For the more energetic there are mountains to climb, cliffs to absail,rivers to navigate & white water to test your nerves.
