Halcyon Quest is an eight bedroom family hotel/public house. We pride ourselves with a well-stocked bar. We have a beautiful sunny beer garden with ample seating for up to 30 people,with parking at the rear of the building. We have a fun quiz on a Tuesday all are welcome to join in. Halcyon Quest (H.Q.) is situated just two minutes walk from Prestatyn High Street and within easy walking of the beach and many other picturesque strolls including the historic Offas Dyke Pathway. You can bathe in the history of Prestatyn and wander around the many castles in the North Wales area. Prestatyn is a wide North facing sandy beach with rock groynes. A long split level promenade runs the whole length of the beach heading towards Rhyl, Abergele, Llandudno and beyond. You are now able to cycle the full length of the promenade by way of a safe cycle path. We are within 10 miles of eight excellent golf courses, of which Prestatyn Golf Links is of Championship status. For the discerning golfer, we at H.Q. offer golfing mini breaks with transport to and from any golf course you choose. Details available on request. And of course for the shopper and bargain hunter, there are many markets dotted around the coast. Due to tv remote controls being taken therefore rendering the tv useless, we have had to charge a £10.00 refundable deposit. Please bear in mind all rooms have a maximum capacity (fire regulations). Should you exceed that capacity we reserve the right to refuse. The ideal base for a holiday in North Wales, Beaches Hotel overlooks Prestatyn's Blue Flag Central Beach. Originally built as a Yacht Club, and later a Golf Club, the building includes the original sea wall. The Hotel was substantially rebuilt in the 1990's and is now being transformed, by the new Irish owners, into a friendly, comfortable, home from home for all visitors to Prestatyn. All our rooms have been lovingly rejuvinated with the fresh, clean colours of the beach. Beaches Hotel enjoys a unique position in Prestatyn so that all our rooms have views of the beach and Irish sea, or the Prestatyn hills. Every room has ensuite facilities and all the usual home comforts, television, tea and coffee making, and hairdryers. For special occasions and celebrations we offer a selection of superior Sea View rooms. We also have a large honeymoon room with bay windows overlooking the Sea. For less mobile guests we have a lift to all the floors and there is easy access to the Promenade Bar and Patio area on the first floor using the lift. We have ample parking in front of the hotel. The large, modern, indoor pool and spa and the fully equipped gym offer plenty of scope for active entertainment in inclement weather. The pool is lined with picture windows which allow sunlight to fill the room even in the middle of winter. Weddings and celebrations can also be held in the large restaurant which can seat up to 60 in the restaurant in the bay window area or 80 in the far end of the restaurant for any function.
