Dating from the 17th century, this former coaching inn has been transformed into a charming, contemporary styled retreat that faces the famous Wrekin Hill. There are 2 contrasting dining rooms, an à la carte restaurant and a stylish brasserie bar. Both offer quality cuisine, modern candlelit interiors and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The Old Orleton Inn has always been a 100% non-smoking establishment. The owners have been restaurateurs locally for 20 years and have brought their unique style to The Old Orleton. The inn offers a selection of carefully prepared vegetarian, fish and meat dishes in the new British style, using fresh, quality, local produce whenever possible. By car from the M6 motorway: - Take junction 10A onto the M54 motorway. - Take the M54 and junction 7 for Wellington. - At the bottom of the junction turn right under the motorway. - The Old Orleton is 500 yards on your left at the intersection of Holyhead Road and Haygate Road. Parking at the hotel is one car per room, additional car by arrangement. By public transport: Wellington is a mainline train station from Birmingham and a central bus station from Telford. The town is a 15 minute pleasant walk from the hotel or costs 2.50 GBP by taxi.
