Moorpark House has, over the past 4 years, undergone a multi million pound refurbishment and conversion transforming the property into a grand yet welcoming country house hotel. Object id #39 which at the time owned many of the mills in the Garnock Valley. Having fallen into a bad state of repair the property was acquired by the Local Authority in the 1980’s and used as a training centre until 2003 when it was purchased by the present owner Graham Conrathe. From Glasgow Leave the M8 at junction 28A (signposted Irvine A737), then merge onto the A737 entering Paisley (A737). At Roadhead roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A760 (signposted Largs). Continue through Lochwinnock entering Kilbirnie onto Stoneyholm Road. At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Bridge Street - A760 (signposted Largs) . At mini-roundabout turn left A760. Turn right onto School Road. Arrive at KA25 7LD,Kilbirnie, Moorpark House Hotel. From Glasgow Central Railway Station Trains run from Glasgow Central to Glengarnock Railway Station on the Ayr, Largs and ardrossan Harbour Lines.
