Sympathetically restored, elegantly decorated and furnished, it recalls the tranquillity of a past age. •  Penshurst Place & Gardens (9 Miles) - Penshurst Place is a magnificent medieval manor house. Ancestral home of Viscount De L'Isle, with medieval Barons Hall, state rooms and toy museum. Walled Tudor gardens and ancient parkland. Also a plant centre, garden restaurant and nature trail. •  Chartwell (10 Miles) - Former home of Sir Winston Churchill. Lovely stately home set in Westerham.
